Do I need any equipment for the yoga classes?
Technically, you don't need anything but a willing attitude and capable body. However, minimally you will need a yoga mat. Two yoga blocks and a strap could come in handy for allowing you to progress safely and quickly. For Restorative Yoga, if you don't have bolsters, you can use pillows, blankets, and towels.
Should I eat before I train or practice yoga?
Don’t practice on a full stomach, but it is helpful to eat a protein/fat snack about 60 minutes before a session. Also, make sure you are well-hydrated prior to class.
Is Yoga for Athletes an intense athletic class?
No. Our Yoga for Athletes classes are meant for recovery. But, you’ll still work! Consider it active rest, generally speaking. We focus on increasing range of motion, preventing injury by stabilizing the joints and working on balance and coordination.
Do I need any equipment for the HIIT Classes?
We will generally provide bodyweight alternatives for all exercises but if you have the following to include, it will definitely offer that added challenge to all your workouts.
